A shocking act of violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Nagarchauri village left a family reeling after a knife attack on Sunday evening. One family member died, while two others suffered serious injuries in the incident that occurred under the Mishrauliya police station area. Ramkala, 45, died on the spot, and his wife and daughter were gravely wounded.
Police are actively working to locate and arrest the suspect and any accomplices. A case has been formally filed, and an investigation is in progress. Authorities have stated that Mukesh is the individual accused of the stabbing. The injured mother and daughter were immediately transported to a hospital. Ramkala, the father, did not survive the attack. Based on the family’s report, an FIR was filed, and efforts are being made to apprehend Mukesh and anyone else connected to the crime.
Separately, in Greater Noida, a woman was allegedly murdered by her husband, who set her on fire due to dowry-related issues. This tragic event unfolded on August 21 in Sirsa village, Greater Noida. Disturbing video footage showed the woman aflame as she walked down the stairs, having been brutally attacked by her husband and in-laws.
Nikki, the victim, married Vipin in 2016. Her sister, Kanchan, who is also married into the same family, lodged a police complaint against the in-laws, accusing them of physically abusing her sister and tormenting both women for a dowry of Rs 36 lakh, which was demanded just six months after Nikki’s wedding.
