Investigations are shedding light on a sinister plot orchestrated by a female doctor, identified as Dr. Shaheen, who allegedly specialized in recruiting and radicalizing vulnerable Muslim girls and women for human bomb missions. Recovered deleted WhatsApp conversations have provided critical insights into her operations, codenamed ‘Mujahid Jangju’.
According to reports, Dr. Shaheen focused her recruitment efforts on young women, including those aged 14 to 18, and divorced or estranged women from Muslim communities, who were considered susceptible to indoctrination. She was allegedly responsible for identifying these vulnerable individuals and preparing them for extremist acts under the operation ‘Mission Kafir’.
The terror network reportedly extended across several cities in Uttar Pradesh, structured into specialized units. Dr. Shaheen is said to have established teams composed of five doctors, each supervised by a ‘HOD’ (Head of Department), a coded leadership role. To ensure operational security, rigid communication guidelines were imposed, and a distributed structure, akin to sleeper cells, meant individual teams operated in isolation.
Financial trails have also come under scrutiny, with over Rs 40 crore in suspicious transactions linked to Dr. Shaheen and her associates over a seven-year period. The patterns of these transactions, including the subtle addition of a single rupee to large sums, are believed to be coded messages for covert communication, indicating a well-funded and carefully managed terror operation with suspected ties to Pakistan-based militant groups.
