Drunk Thief in Kanpur Falls Asleep at Scene of Crime, Leading to His Capture

A thief in Kanpur found himself in an unusual predicament after a night of criminal activity. After looting two homes in the Nazirabad police station area near the Marayampur railway line, the individual, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, fell asleep at the scene of the second burglary. The first house targeted belonged to Vinod Kumar, where the thief broke into a cupboard to steal items. He then moved to the adjacent residence of Anil Kumar, where he also stole jewelry and cash. Exhausted by his actions, he then lay down and fell asleep on a bed in Anil Kumar’s house. The homeowner, Anil Kumar, discovered the intruder the next morning, leading to an alarm and the subsequent apprehension of the thief by neighbors. The police were notified, the suspect was arrested, and a case was filed resulting in his imprisonment.
