A distressing incident occurred in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area on Thursday when an 18-month-old child was injured in a collision involving an Audi car and a motorcycle. Police sources confirmed the child’s injuries and that the toddler has been admitted to AIIMS trauma center for medical attention. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Simultaneously, an Extradition court in New Delhi has authorized the extradition of a fugitive criminal to the United Kingdom. This individual is wanted to face charges of sexual assault, rape, and indecent communication before the High Court of Scotland. The fugitive was apprehended in Kochi, Kerala, after fleeing the UK. He gave his consent for extradition. The court order, issued by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Pranav Joshi, concerns the extradition of Naijil Pau, an Indian national who is a British citizen. The court has ordered that Naijil Paul remain in judicial custody in Tihar Jail until the extradition proceedings are finalized, mandating his appearance before the court every seven days via video conferencing.
