Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot was the target of a recent cyber fraud attempt. Cybercriminals contacted the Governor, falsely identifying themselves as Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the phone number used for the call was fraudulent. Based on a complaint from a Raj Bhavan official, an FIR has been lodged at the Central Cyber Police Station. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation.
