Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has reacted to the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, a newlywed from Indore, who was allegedly killed in Meghalaya during his honeymoon. His wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, is believed to have orchestrated the killing using hired assassins. Yadav described the incident as a painful experience and underscored the need for greater caution when families arrange marriages. He also mentioned the importance of careful consideration before allowing newly married couples to travel to distant locations. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. The police are preparing to transport them to Shillong following legal procedures. Sonam Raghuvanshi was apprehended in Bihar and is now in police custody, awaiting further investigation.
