Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has publicly addressed the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, expressing his profound sadness and highlighting the need for greater caution in marital arrangements. The case involves the death of a recently married man from Indore who was allegedly murdered during his honeymoon in Meghalaya. Authorities believe the killing was orchestrated by his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi.
CM Yadav described the incident as ‘very painful,’ and a crucial lesson for society. He stressed the need for meticulousness when families come together through marriage, and advised considering all aspects before allowing young couples to travel far from home. He shared his personal distress at the tragic turn of events.
Four individuals have been arrested in the murder investigation, and are expected to be taken to Shillong following completion of transit remand procedures. The suspects include Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, Raj Singh Kushwaha, and Anand. Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime suspect, was previously held in Bihar before being handed over to the Meghalaya Police, after being found in Uttar Pradesh and undergoing medical examination.
