Raipur July 25, 2025 / The Chhattisgarh government has taken a historic initiative in empowering the energy, talent, and innovation of youth by launching the “CM IT Fellowship Program”. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, this program will become a powerful medium to prepare the technically skilled and promising youth of the state for global competition.
Under this scheme, the youth of the state are being provided an opportunity to pursue M.Tech in futuristic subjects like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR). This curriculum has been designed in accordance with the Digital India Mission and the New Education Policy, with a special emphasis on innovation, research, and practical training along with technical education. The entire tuition fee of the selected students under this scheme will be borne by the state government, and they will also be provided a fellowship of ₹50,000 per month. During the course, young students will also gain practical experience working on government projects in important areas such as AI, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Healthtech, Edtech, Revenue Systems, and E-Governance. The state government has urged the youth to apply by visiting the iiitnr.ac.in portal to avail this golden opportunity.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this program will not only take the state’s technical landscape to new heights but will also prove to be a strong step towards establishing Chhattisgarh as a leading state in the digital age.
