Raipur, May 29, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attended the civic reception ceremony organized under the national executive council meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad held at the Agriculture Mandapam Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur. Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that youth power is national power. Our country has the highest number of youth in the world. The role of youth will be very important in making India a developed nation by 2047.
The Chief Minister said that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is the largest student organization in the world. It is a matter of great happiness that this three-day national council meeting is being organized on the land of Chhattisgarh. Life is incomplete without education. Education is the mantra of development. Today, all the top educational institutions are established in Chhattisgarh. Today, the youth in our state are studying in national institutions like IIT, AIIMS, Triple IT, National Law University. The new education policy is implemented in Chhattisgarh. Under the new education policy, we are also connecting the youth with employment. An institution like Prayas in Chhattisgarh is working to provide education to school children. Children studying in Prayas are succeeding in competitive examinations in large numbers.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that for those youth who want to prepare for civil services etc. examinations, Tribal Youth Hostel is established in New Delhi. We have increased the capacity of this Tribal Youth Hostel to 200 seats. We are building Nalanda complex across the state where children can study in a peaceful environment. We have taken the initiative here that students can also study medicine in Hindi language. Education is being imparted to children at the primary level in their mother tongue Gondi, Halbi etc.
The Chief Minister said that the new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh is being appreciated across the country. Under the new industrial policy, we are not only bringing investment in the state but also providing employment to a large number of youth. The work of semiconductor chip manufacturing and AI data center has started in Chhattisgarh. There will be great potential for employment of youth in these areas as well. Our government has handed over the investigation of corruption in PSC to CBI. It is our top priority that the future of the youth is not jeopardized.
The Chief Minister said that during the Sushasan Tihar, we are taking feedback from the public on the work done by the government in one and a half years. The third phase of Sushasan Tihar is currently underway, under which we are touring the entire state. The applications received in the first phase were resolved by our officers in the second phase. Now in the third phase we are going to the public. In one and a half years, we have fulfilled most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Modi. We have kept the promise of providing Prime Minister’s housing to the people. 70 lakh mothers and sisters are getting the Mahatari Vandan amount. During the Sushasan Tihar, a woman in Narayanpur told me with great happiness that she has bought a sewing machine with the Mahatari Vandan amount. Through which she is earning 4 to 5 thousand. Similarly, a sister told that she is running a grocery shop with this amount and earning an income of two to three thousand rupees. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country where the Department of Good Governance and Convergence has been started. All the work of the government is being done transparently. We are now moving towards digitization. Files are now online through e-files. We are closing all the ways of corruption.
On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLA Shri Kiran Dev, MLA Shri Motilal Sahu and other dignitaries were present.
