The Youth Congress vehemently protested the actions of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Bhilai. This followed an early morning raid by the ED team at the Bhilai residence of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, which caused significant unrest within the Congress ranks. The Youth Congress expressed their disapproval by burning an effigy of the ED in Bhilai. The protest was specifically against the arrest of Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. The Youth Congress has threatened to घेराव (surround) the residences of the Chief Minister and Home Minister if the ED’s actions are not stopped.
