Raipur, July 1, 2025/Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Ramdas Athawale today had a courtesy meeting with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at Mahanadi Bhawan, the secretariat. Chief Minister Shri Sai warmly welcomed him by presenting a shawl, coconut and a memento.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai discussed in detail the schemes being implemented by the state government for the socially and educationally backward classes, the elderly and the disabled. He informed about the efforts of the state government towards effective implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes.
Union Minister of State Shri Athawale, while appreciating the social welfare programs being run by the Chhattisgarh government, said that the state government is playing an active role in taking the central schemes to the ground level. He said that the central and state governments will continue to work with a sense of dedication for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society in coordination. On this occasion, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap was also present.
