They managed to reach the young man stranded mid-river. The young man identified himself as Rahul, residing in Kashi Nagar, and shared his love story with a girl from Atal Awas in Maharana Pratap Nagar. They had planned to marry, but her family’s refusal led to their suicide attempt.
