The breakdown of the surrendered individuals includes 1 DVCM, 6 PPCMs, 4 ACMs, and 12 party members, encompassing 9 women and 14 men, notably including 3 Naxal couples. The surrender was motivated by the state government’s “Chhattisgarh Naxalite Surrender Rehabilitation Policy” and the “Niyad Nella Nar Yojana,” alongside the strategic placement of security camps in distant territories and enhanced police operations.
