Chhattisgarh’s youth are creating the technological future through innovation – Chief Minister honored the winners of the Ideathon
Raipur, November 4, 2025/Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai attended the ‘Chhattisgarh Tech Start’ program organized today at the Mayfair Hotel in new Raipur. Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that this ‘Tech Start’ event is an important effort to give a new direction to innovation and technological entrepreneurship in the state. On this occasion, he honored the winners of ‘Ideathon 2025’ and handed over agreement letters to entities partnering with the Chhattisgarh government. He extended greetings for the Silver Jubilee year to the technology experts, entrepreneurs, and distinguished guests present at the program.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that our visionary Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has always inspired us to set big goals and achieve them. Taking inspiration from his resolve for ‘Developed India’, the state government has set a goal of ‘Developed Chhattisgarh’ by the year 2047, for which a vision document has also been prepared. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, millions of startups are operational in India today, many of which have become unicorns. The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is also working with full dedication to promote the entrepreneurship of the youth.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that the youth of Chhattisgarh have an amazing ability to move forward even in difficult circumstances. Giving an example, he said that the state’s daughter Akanksha Satyavanshi is the physiotherapist of the Indian women’s cricket team, while Squadron Leader Gaurav Patel is bringing glory to the state by flying a fighter plane in the New Raipur Aero Show. He informed that the state government has empowered Ease of Doing Business and the Single Window System by making over 350 reforms, making Chhattisgarh one of the most attractive states in the country for investment. Along with industrial development, the state is also progressing rapidly in the IT and ITES sectors.
Chief Minister informed that in the recently organized ‘Ideathon 2025’, over 1800 startup ideas were received from across the state, with significant participation from youth from remote areas. He said that the state government will provide a platform, guidance, and financial assistance for these innovations. The Chief Minister also informed that work is progressing rapidly towards making Raipur a hub for IT and technical services. Projects like AI Data Center Park and Semiconductor Plant are also becoming a reality. Mr. Sai expressed his happiness, stating that the state government has so far received investment proposals worth over seven and a half lakh crore rupees. He also discussed in detail the rapid economic activities and increasing employment opportunities for the youth in the state. The Chief Minister told the entrepreneurs that the Chhattisgarh government stands with you like a rock. Calling upon them to take their hard work and talent to a global level, he said that the success of all of you will be the pride of Chhattisgarh.
Chief Secretary Mr. Vikas Sheel said that the objective of the New Industrial Policy 2024 is to promote entrepreneurship and build a developed Chhattisgarh in line with Vision 2047. He informed that this policy focuses on increasing opportunities in innovation, investment, employment, and startups. He highlighted the need to work in emerging areas like e-waste management, rising sectors, and skill development and urged entrepreneurs to share their suggestions.
Chief Secretary said that the government is committed to making Chhattisgarh a hub of technical and industrial development in collaboration with youth and entrepreneurs. He also said that the dialogue between entrepreneurs and the government should not be limited to special occasions but should be continuous so that ideas are exchanged constantly.
Chief Minister honored the winners of ‘Ideathon 2025’
During the Tech Start program, Chief Minister Mr. Sai honored the winning participants of the recently organized ‘Ideathon 2025’. Praising the innovative creations presented by the youth, he said that it is extremely gratifying when youth engage with innovation, and it strengthens the technological future.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored NIT Raipur, Rungta Business Incubator, and IGKVR for their excellent work as incubators.
Chief Minister awarded Adarsh Verma the first prize for the idea of a smart band for the disabled in Ideathon 2025, Jagruti and Narendra Sharma the second prize for ‘Atal Kavach Tree Guard’ for the protection of roadside plants, and Atharv Dubey the third prize for the idea of a smart safety helmet. He also honored Nipun Verma and Anushka Sonkar for their innovative ideas.
Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai honored Karan Chandrakar for Agrofab Sustainable Startup, Sajal Malhotra for Vertex Suite, and Amit Patel for Larc AI.
Memorandum of Understanding for ‘Partnership Exchange’ with the State Government handed over
During the program, Chief Minister Mr. Sai distributed Memorandum of Understandings for Partnership Exchange between Mighty Startup Hub, National Innovation Foundation, Wadhwani Foundation, NASSCOM Foundation, Startup Middle East, Carv Startup Lab, and the Chhattisgarh Government.
Observation of AI-based innovations – Encouragement of youth
During the program, Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai inspected AI (Artificial Intelligence) based innovation stalls. He took detailed information about the models, technologies, and applications developed by the startup teams.
Chief Minister appreciated the entrepreneurship and research capabilities of the young innovators after seeing the solutions, software, applications, and technical models prepared by them. During the inspection, the young entrepreneurs present informed the Chief Minister about the utility of their projects, market potential, and future plans.
Congratulating and wishing all the youth, the Chief Minister said that they should continue to make their mark in global competition with new technology.
