Balod. The havoc of high speed is showing no sign of stopping. Husband and wife died in a tragic road accident in the district. It is being told that the members of Ramayana Mandali of village Manki were returning back to their village after giving a program of Ramcharit Manasgan. Then the speeding Scorpio lost control and collided with a tree. In this accident, the husband and wife died tragically on the spot. Five people have been injured. The condition of both the children of the deceased couple is also critical. This incident took place between Mujgahan and Khamtarai villages of Deori police station area.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. According to the police, the people of Ramcharit Manas Mandali were returning to their village Manki in a Scorpio after giving a programme. Then the speeding Scorpio lost control and collided with a tree. In this accident, Purshottam Yadav, 43 years old, resident of Manki village and his wife Janaki Yadav, 40 years old, died on the spot. Both the children of the deceased, Harsh Yadav and Veena Yadav, are seriously injured. After first aid, the injured have been referred to Rajnandgaon Medical College.
