A shocking case of violence and abuse has emerged from the Balod district of Chhattisgarh, where three young men are accused of a brutal assault on three schoolboys. The victims were forced to remove their clothes, physically assaulted on their private parts with a wooden stick, and subjected to indecent acts. The incident took place in Bhatgaon village, under the jurisdiction of the Ranchirai police station, on September 9th. The perpetrators threatened the boys with death if they revealed the incident to anyone. A formal complaint was filed on September 12th, prompting a police investigation.
The incident began when the accused approached the victims, all of whom were students. Tikaram Sahu, a class 11 student, stated in his complaint that he was with his friends near the Karma Mandir school in the village when they were invited to go for a walk. During their walk, the group arrived at a pond near the village. There, without provocation, the accused began using abusive language towards the victims, forcing them to undress. They were then beaten with a stick and subjected to indecent acts.
When the victims attempted to escape, the attackers restrained them, using pieces of fabric to tie their hands. They threatened the victims with a knife and warned them against informing anyone about the incident. They also threatened to kill them. The victims eventually returned home, but due to fear, they remained silent about the assault.
The incident was brought to light when one of the victim’s fathers inquired about the situation after hearing rumors from a local shopkeeper. The victim then revealed the details of the assault to his family and the parents of his friends. Following this disclosure, a police complaint was filed, and the investigation is underway.
