Raipur, June 13, 2025/ The new academic session is going to start in Chhattisgarh from June 16, 2025. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has written a letter to all the public representatives of the state, appealing for active participation in the “Shala Pravesh Utsav”. This event is being organized with the aim of empowering the field of education in the state and ensuring enrollment of hundred percent children in schools.
The Chief Minister has written in his letter that the goal of making the state literate to hundred percent is certainly challenging, but it is not impossible. He said that to make “impossible possible”, every section of the society will have to make meaningful efforts together. For this, it is most important that no child is deprived of school and timely admission of all children is ensured.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also mentioned that the Right to Education Act is in force in the state, and under the National Education Policy 2020, it has been ensured that the school dropout rate up to class 12th is gradually reduced to zero. For this, the responsibility of identifying and removing educational obstacles is shared by all stakeholders.
*Chief Minister’s Education Quality Campaign: A Concrete Initiative*
Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that the state government is starting the “Chief Minister’s Education Quality Campaign”, which aims to improve the academic quality in government schools. Along with this, the government has rationalized teachers and schools, and teachers have been posted in teacherless and single-teacher schools on a priority basis, so that the right to education can reach every child.
*Infrastructure Development Government’s Priority*
The Chief Minister also clarified that the government has kept the development of infrastructure and basic facilities in the school education sector in the state as its top priority. He urged the public representatives to participate individually in their respective areas during the Shala Pravesh Utsav and ensure that no child is out of school.

The Chief Minister said, “We have made it, we will improve it” to realize this concept, we all will have to work together to get results. He hoped that all the public representatives would lead this campaign and discharge their social responsibilities and play an important role in making Chhattisgarh an educated, empowered and self-reliant state.
*Make Shala Pravesh Utsav a Public Campaign*
This letter of the Chief Minister is being seen as the beginning of a mass movement regarding education in the state. This will not only increase the access of children to school, but will also give a new direction to the quality of education and social participation.
