Raipur, August 12, 2025/ The school-teacher rationalization policy implemented under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai is playing an important role in improving the quality of education in the state’s schools. Under this policy, teachers are being appointed by balancing additional and vacant posts, due to which students in remote areas are also benefiting from regular and quality education.
Shaskiya Poorva Madhyamik Shala of Korkoma, a forest area of Korba district, where 319 students are studying, is a clear example of this. Earlier, the studies of the students were disrupted due to the lack of teachers here and many periods used to remain vacant. But after the rationalization process, with the posting of two female teachers, Mrs. Rameshwari Ratnakar and Mrs. Padma Nishad, now all the classes are being conducted regularly, and continuous teaching and study work are going on in an organized manner.
Headmaster Shri Gopal Prasad Saw said that according to the number of students, there was a shortage of two teachers here, which has now been fulfilled. The newly posted female teachers started taking classes as soon as they arrived. Mrs. Ratnakar is teaching English, while Mrs. Nishad is handling social science, science and Hindi subjects.
Students Sunil, Sameer, Gunjan, Sneha, Rakesh and Sahil expressed their happiness and said that now no period is left vacant and studies are going on continuously. This change is especially relieving for the children coming from 5 to 7 kilometers away, because now they are getting regular education in every subject.
This change is not only raising the level of education of the students, but is also increasing the trust of the parents in the school. This initiative of the government, while strengthening the right to education, is ensuring that no child of the state is deprived of quality education.
