Rapid pace of development being given in every sector of Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai
Chief Minister Shri Sai presents a visionary development roadmap at the ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ conclave
Raipur, July 11, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai participated in the grand ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ conclave organized by News18 Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh in Raipur. Various aspects of the state’s development, good governance, and public welfare were discussed in the program. Chief Minister Shri Sai clarified on this occasion that his government is working to accelerate inclusive development in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the 3 crore people of Chhattisgarh have given us historic support and we started working as soon as the government was formed. 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas were approved in the first cabinet itself, due to which thousands of families are getting the opportunity to enter their homes today. Taking a historic decision in the agricultural sector, our government has started purchasing paddy from farmers at the rate of ₹3100 per quintal, including the outstanding amount of two years. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women, assistance of ₹1000 per month is being given to 70 lakh women of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under tribal empowerment, from distribution of Charan Paduka to bonus to tendu leaf collectors and through the Tirth Darshan Yojana, the poor are being provided the opportunity of religious travel.
The Chief Minister said that we had promised to provide banking facility in the panchayats, under which Atal Digital centers have been established in 1460 gram panchayats, and it will soon be expanded to all the panchayats of the state. The work of Ready to Eat production has been re-entrusted to women’s self-help groups.
The Chief Minister said that our government is seriously pursuing the Naxal-free India campaign. The central government has set a deadline to make the country Naxal-free by March 31, 2026, and we are rapidly carrying out development works in the villages under the Niyad Nellar Yojana. This change is becoming possible due to the commitment of the double engine government.
Many thought-provoking sessions were organized in the ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ conclave, focusing on the possibilities, achievements, and future direction of Chhattisgarh. The conclave provided an effective platform for dialogue on governance, empowerment, and innovation, strongly presenting the vision of Chhattisgarh on the national stage.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma and Agriculture Minister Dr. Ramvichar Netam were also present on the occasion.
