Leading by example, the Chief Minister donned a helmet and rode a motorcycle to officially commence the event, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the predominantly young audience. This national-level competition is being held as a significant part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year festivities, with a core objective of promoting discipline, responsibility, and safety awareness among aspiring riders.
In a public appeal accompanied by a shared video, CM Sai stressed the non-negotiable aspects of road safety. “Your life is precious, therefore always wear a helmet while riding a two-wheeler and follow traffic rules. Do not race on the road at all,” he urged. He further elaborated on the state’s commitment to nurturing youthful energy responsibly, stating, “The speed of our youth is the strength of the nation — but that speed must be safe and balanced. That is the true victory.” Organized on a specially constructed safe racing track, the event highlights Chhattisgarh’s burgeoning role in Indian motorsports. Ujjwal Deepak, President of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, echoed this sentiment, remarking, “Let speed be a passion, not a danger.” The MRF National Supercross Championship 2025 promises thrilling action while championing safe driving practices.
