A peace committee meeting in Raipur addressed the upcoming Ganesh Visarjan and Eid-Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, leading to a ban on DJs and fireworks. Increased police presence will be visible at various locations during the festivals. The police have issued a firm warning, stating that strict measures will be taken against individuals attempting to cause disorder or disrupt peace.
ASP Lakhan Patle emphasized the importance of adhering to procession timings. The use of DJs is strictly forbidden. Fireworks will not be permitted in processions this year. Traffic routes have been planned to ensure smooth traffic flow. Additionally, surveillance will be carried out using CCTV cameras.
