First phase – complete, now Good Governance Express in the second phase
Looking at the positive results of the state-wide Good Governance Festival-2025, the District Administration Raipur started the Good Governance Express on the same pattern, with the objective of resolving the problems and applications of the government staff together by reaching the villages. The first phase of the Good Governance Express started from the villages of Abhanpur, Arang, Dharsiwa and Tilda development blocks. Problems and applications were resolved expeditiously through the Good Governance Express in more than 300 gram panchayats of the four development blocks and in 17 wards of Nagar Panchayat Arang.
After the success of the first phase, the District Administration has now started its second phase as well, which includes the rural areas of Abhanpur, Dharsiwa and Tilda blocks, where the Good Governance Express is reaching on the scheduled dates. Along with the Good Governance Express, the field staff of various departments is resolving the problems and applications of the people by reaching the villages.
Big change at a nominal expense
Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh said that to give shape to the idea of operating the Good Governance Express for the quick resolution of public problems, four condemned ambulances were repaired by the District Administration and converted into Good Governance Express. These mobile service vans prepared at a nominal expense have paved a new path of good governance in the rural areas. The success of the Good Governance Express of Raipur district is actually an exemplary model in the direction of the government-administration’s will, innovation and delivering the benefits of the government’s public welfare schemes to the last person.
