A report was filed at the Kotba police station by the victim. The report stated that a 25-year-old woman from the same village had lured away his 17-year-old minor son. After searching in the vicinity, the police registered a case against the accused under Section 137(2) of the BNS and initiated an investigation. During the investigation, the police, with the help of informants and the technical team, tracked the woman and the minor boy to the Medchal Malkajgiri district of Telangana state.
