Following observed lapses in the execution of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the Pendra development block, the district administration has initiated disciplinary measures. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for negligence and lack of diligence. Employment assistant Jyoti Kashyap from the same panchayat has also received a show cause notice.
Moreover, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be immediately transferred. This action was taken under the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid, who emphasized that any form of negligence in government schemes will not be condoned. All panchayat staff have been cautioned that stringent action will be taken against individuals hindering the progress of the PM Awas Yojana, a crucial government initiative. The administration’s actions have created a ripple effect, prompting the remaining panchayats to implement schemes promptly and transparently.
