A violent crime took place in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, on Thursday, where a man fatally attacked his girlfriend at a petrol pump. The individual, identified as Jogendra Paikra, was motivated by the end of their relationship. Police have apprehended the suspect, and an investigation is underway. The incident occurred at the Gandhinagar police station.
Jogendra arrived at the petrol pump on a motorcycle, carrying a knife and an air pistol. Upon seeing his girlfriend, Bharti Toppo, who worked at the petrol pump, he immediately began chasing her. Despite her attempts to escape, he caught her and stabbed her multiple times.
The attack occurred in front of witnesses, who immediately intervened to apprehend the assailant. Bharti was rushed to the hospital, but succumbed to her injuries.
