Raipur, August 14, 2025// Our tricolor is a living symbol of the years of struggle and sacrifice of our ancestors. We will all always maintain the pride of the tricolor, will never forget our immortal martyrs and together we will build a developed, prosperous and empowered Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai participated in the Independence Run organized at Marine Drive in the capital Raipur today and addressed the कार्यक्रम. During this, he ran the Independence Run with thousands of youth and paid homage to Bharat Mata and the immortal martyr Rani Durgavati by garlanding them. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the tricolor embodies the aspirations of crores of Indians and it is the indelible consciousness of our spirit of bravery, peace and prosperity. Shri Sai, while saluting the holy tricolor, said that on the call of our successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the whole country has been filled with the tricolor on Independence Day for the last few years. He said that for the last few days, we have all been celebrating this auspicious day with enthusiasm in different ways. Tiranga yatras and the resolve to hoist the tricolor in every house have connected this auspicious occasion to the masses. The Chief Minister said that this Tiranga Yatra is not just an event, but a living symbol of our unity, integrity and national pride. He said that Independence Day reminds us that freedom is the invaluable gift of countless sacrifices. Lakhs of crores of patriots sacrificed their lives, then we got this freedom.
The Chief Minister said that today’s special occasion reminded me of my childhood days. When I was in school, Prabhat Pheris used to come out on Independence Day, patriotic songs echoed in the villages. He said that the pride that was felt at that time, that pride is still in our hearts today. The Chief Minister said that today it is our responsibility to take our country and state to new heights of development. We have prepared a developed Chhattisgarh vision document for the year 2047, and our government is working accordingly. This is a shared resolve of all of us along with the government. Chief Minister Shri Sai extended advance greetings of Independence Day to all present on this occasion. In the कार्यक्रम, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankram Verma said that the Independence Run is not just a run but a response to the struggle for independence. The country has got freedom from the sacrifice of brave sons. Following the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for a developed, clean, healthy and best India, our Chief Minister has also dreamt of a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh. He said that let us resolve to give our invaluable contribution to fulfill this dream. During this, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, MLA Shri Motilal Sahu, MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, District Panchayat President Shri Naveen Agarwal, Secretary of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Shri Yashwant Kumar were present.
