Decisive Victory Against Red Terror: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Salutes the Courage and Dedication of Security Forces

Raipur, May 14, 2025/ Taking the Naxal eradication campaign to a decisive turning point, the anti-Naxal operation on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border has been successfully completed. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has congratulated the security forces on this historic success and has termed this decisive achievement as a historic step towards a Naxal-free India.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of the illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji, we are moving forward with firm resolve to free the country from Naxalism by March 31, 2026.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, while praising the security forces, especially the CRPF, STF, and DRG personnel, said that in this decisive battle against red terror, our brave soldiers have faced the Naxals with full bravery in adverse conditions. I salute their indomitable courage, patience, and valor.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that the day is not far when Chhattisgarh will be completely Naxal-free, and a new light of peace, prosperity, and development will spread in every village of Bastar.

Notably, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has tweeted that in the biggest anti-Naxal operation so far in the difficult area of the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, security forces have achieved historic success in the Naxal eradication campaign by killing 31 notorious Naxals. He has stated that this area has been a stronghold of strategic planning, Naxal training, and weapon manufacturing. Today, the tricolor is waving proudly on that mountain – this is a symbol of the victory of India’s internal security and sovereignty.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, in his official statement, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, we are determined to eradicate Naxalism from its roots. I reassure the countrymen that India is set to be Naxal-free by March 31, 2026. He said that this operation was completed in just 21 days, and not a single soldier of the security forces was martyred, which is proof of our strategy, coordination, and valor. He congratulated the CRPF, STF, and DRG personnel for the indomitable courage and discipline shown despite the bad weather and difficult geography.

Shri Shah also said that this success is not only a military victory but also a psychological and ideological victory, which has shaken the backbone of the Naxal network. He assures the country and especially the people of Chhattisgarh that Naxalism is now in its final stages. He said that where there was once the rule of red terror, today peace, development, and the rule of the Constitution have been established under the shadow of the national flag. This campaign will set an example as a model operation for the security forces in the times to come.

The Union Home Minister appreciated the coordination between the state and the center and said that it is the result of joint efforts that such a big success has been achieved in such a big campaign with zero casualties. The Government of India and security agencies are working with full dedication and strength towards the goal of making the country completely Naxal-free by 2026.
