The Chhattisgarh Pavilion at the Osaka World Expo 2025 drew significant crowds on its opening day, showcasing the state’s rich heritage, industries, and tourism potential. The event, running from August 24th to 30th, is being held under the Indian Pavilion, following an invitation from the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO). The inauguration of the pavilion highlighted key aspects of Chhattisgarh, including the iconic Chitrakote Falls, often referred to as the ‘Niagara of India’ due to its width.
The pavilion’s design aims to provide an immersive experience, highlighting Chhattisgarh’s cultural, industrial, and tourism strengths. It serves as a platform to showcase the state’s development and future prospects to a global audience. Nava Raipur, a pioneering greenfield smart city, designed to attract investment and foster industrial growth, was a prominent feature.
