The completion of this line, with an investment of around 1680 crore rupees, will improve the efficiency of coal logistics and meet the growing demands of various industries. It will also facilitate easier access to the renowned Bandhavgarh National Park, promoting tourism and boosting trade and travel between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The project is a vital part of the route connecting major cities of Chhattisgarh to Katni and onward to North India.
