Raipur, August 11, 2025/ The school-teacher rationalization policy implemented on the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has written a new chapter of positive change in the field of education in the state. Under this policy, balanced distribution of teachers has been ensured in educational institutions across the state, due to which now no school is without a teacher and children are getting the benefit of equal and quality education.
It is noteworthy that before rationalization, a total of 453 schools in the state were without teachers. After rationalization, not a single school is without a teacher. Similarly, after rationalization, additional teachers have been posted in 4,728 single-teacher schools of the state. This step has not only regularized the operation of the classes, but also there has been a significant increase in the attendance of children and enthusiasm towards studies.
Its positive effect can be clearly seen in the Primary School Bagdihpara located in Mainpat development block of Surguja district, where two teachers have been posted recently. Newly appointed teacher Shri Ranjit Khalkho said that in the process of rationalization, he got the opportunity to choose the school of his choice and he chose the remote Bagdihpara because he considers it his duty and good fortune to educate the children of rural areas. With the availability of two teachers, studies of all subjects are being conducted regularly in the school, due to which the learning speed of the children has increased and the trust of the parents has also increased. Now they are sending their children to school regularly, due to which there is a continuous improvement in attendance.
Similarly, the village Kamkasur of Manpur development block of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district is a fresh example of this. The primary school with 14 children enrolled in this Naxal-affected forest area, located 65-70 kilometers away from the district headquarters, was without a teacher for the past one year. With the government’s rationalization initiative, the headmaster was posted here, due to which the children’s studies started again and new enthusiasm returned among the villagers regarding education.
Similarly, a big change has also come in village Bhaktudera of Sakti district with rationalization. This primary school, which depended on a single teacher for years, is now being run by two teachers. This has organized the children’s studies, increased attendance and strengthened the trust of the parents.
This initiative of the state government is not only improving the quality of education, but it is also ensuring that the children of the most remote and backward areas of the state also move towards a bright and self-reliant future.
