Delhi, the national capital, is experiencing intermittent rainfall coupled with high humidity. The weather forecast predicts good rainfall with thunderstorms in Delhi today. This wet spell is likely to continue until July 25th. Yesterday, the maximum temperature in the city was 34.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal. Today, the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 36 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
UP Weather Update: Uttar Pradesh is witnessing a change in weather patterns. Rain and thundershowers are anticipated in parts of western and eastern UP today, with heavy rainfall likely in some western districts. Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad and surrounding areas are under an Orange Alert issued by the weather department.
Bihar Weather Outlook: Bihar is also experiencing a shift in weather conditions. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in various districts, including West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, and others. The weather department has issued Yellow and Orange alerts for several districts in the state.
Rainfall Across States: The weather department forecasts heavy rainfall in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Sikkim from July 22 to 26. Rajasthan has received heavy to very heavy rainfall this monsoon season, although no alert has been issued for today. Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh are likely to experience heavy showers, with an Orange Alert in effect for some parts of Telangana.
Mountain Regions Weather: Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are grappling with heavy rainfall. The weather department has warned of heavy rainfall in Himachal from July 21 to 23. A Yellow alert is in place for today, followed by an Orange alert for the next two days.
