A devastating incident in Khairi Pangri village, Mohla district, Chhattisgarh, claimed the lives of three members of a single family due to electrocution. The deceased were identified as a husband, his wife, and their son. The village is now engulfed in grief following the tragic event. The police were notified and immediately reached the location, subsequently transporting the bodies for post-mortem analysis.
The heartbreaking event transpired on Monday evening, approximately between 6 and 7 PM. The Boga family, residents of Pagri village, had ventured to a nearby farm. Suratram Boga, the family head aged 62, was electrocuted. His son, Ruplal Boga, tried to rescue him, but also became a victim of the electrical current. Bhagabati Bai, the wife, and mother aged 58, reached the spot after the father and son didn’t return. She too succumbed to the electric shock while trying to save her husband and son, resulting in the untimely death of all three family members.
The community is deeply saddened by the loss. Family and villagers are in a state of profound sorrow. Authorities have begun an investigation after sending the bodies for examination.
