In Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat delivered a speech asserting that true dharma is embodied in treating everyone with a sense of belonging and in advancing diverse elements of society in a cooperative way. Addressing the ‘Lokhitkari Kashinath – Smarika Vimochan Samaroh’, Bhagwat noted that people often feel they cannot attain the stature of historical figures such as Shivaji Maharaj. He instead encouraged people to focus on personal growth and contributing positively to their family and community. The event, held at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) auditorium, also involved the unveiling of a commemorative volume dedicated to the life of the late Kashinath Gore, an RSS official. Bhagwat highlighted the enduring impact of Gore’s work, urging the audience to remember his contributions to inspire the new generation. He emphasized that real ‘dharma’ involves looking at everyone with a sense of belonging and promoting all diversities harmoniously. He also addressed the significance of the Sangh’s volunteers in strengthening the organization, stressing the key role of ordinary volunteers in expanding the RSS, even in the face of adversities. Bhagwat also referenced the silent dedication of the Sangh’s volunteers over the past 100 years and their role in promoting the spirit of belonging throughout Hindu society.
