In a disturbing event, Dinesh Kumar Suryavanshi, 35, has been murdered in the Mopka Chowki area under Sarkanda police station in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The victim was killed with a sharp weapon.
According to initial reports, the deceased was sitting behind a Durga Puja pandal when a local resident, Kamlesh Suryavanshi, 25, who is known to be mentally unstable, attacked him. Dinesh was rushed to SIMS Hospital by his family, but was pronounced dead by the doctors.
Police quickly responded to the crime. The accused, who had fled the scene, was apprehended by the Sarkanda police from the Mopka area.
