Due to ongoing infrastructure development, specifically the fourth railway line project between Bilaspur and Jharsuguda, significant changes to train services are scheduled. With the project nearing its final stages and over 150 km of the 206 km line already completed, non-interlocking work will be conducted at Raigarh station from August 31st to September 15th. This will necessitate adjustments to several train schedules. Consequently, 29 express and passenger trains will be canceled. These cancellations impact routes including Bilaspur, Tatanagar, Pune, Kurla, Kamakhya, Hatia, Puri, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Malda, Porbandar, Vasco-da-Gama, Patna, Howrah, and Mumbai. Key routes such as Tatanagar-Bilaspur, Pune-Santragachi, Kurla-Kamakhya, Hatia-Pune, and Puri-Jodhpur will experience disruptions. In addition to cancellations, several trains will be rerouted. The Howrah-Pune Duronto Express will travel via Jharsuguda-Titlagarh-Raipur, while the Pune-Howrah Duronto Express will use the Raipur-Lakholi-Titlagarh route. Other rerouted trains include the Howrah-Mumbai Duronto Express, Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express, Kurla-Shalimar Express, and Shalimar-Kurla Express. Moreover, 5 trains, including the Gondia-Raigarh Janshatabdi and Nizamuddin-Raigarh Gondwana Express, will have their journeys shortened, terminating at Bilaspur instead of continuing to Raigarh.
