    Surajpur: When the girl from Pratappur area of ​​the district refused to marry by the lover and started preparing for marriage to another girl, the girlfriend ate poison. The woman died during treatment at a private hospital in Ambikapur. The woman had an affair with a village youth for nearly six years. Kotwali Ambikapur police has recorded the statement of family members in the case. The case is being sent to Pratappur police station.

    According to the information, Savita Bakhla (22), a resident of village Manpur under Pratappur police station area, had an affair with Rajesh Lakra (24), a youth of the village for nearly six years. The two talked about marriage among themselves. Rajesh Lakra told that her family is not ready to marry Savita Bakhla. Rajesh Lakra eventually refused to marry.

    Relatives arrived to decide the marriage of lover, girlfriend ate poison

    On 1 January, guests came to decide the relationship of Rajesh Lakra’s house. Rajesh Lakra told Savita Bakhla that he was going to marry another girl. On January 25, Savita Bakhla spoke to Rajesh and there was a dispute between the two about getting married. After the dispute, Savita Bakhla ate poison.

    When Savita Bakhla’s condition started deteriorating, the family immediately took her to Pratappur Community Health Center, where doctors were referred to her after giving information about consuming poison. The family reached Ambikapur Mission Hospital with Savita Bakhla. He was treated here for five days. Savita Bakhla died last night.

    Police filed a statement to family members

    The Kotwali Police’s Mission Hospital Outpost Police recorded the statement of the family members. The family has informed about the consumption of poison on the refusal of the lover. Shankar Bakhla, father of the deceased Savita Bakhla, told that Savita had studied till tenth. He was not aware of the love affair. There was talk of marriage.

    After recording the statement of sister and other family members including father in the case, the police will send the case diary to Pratappur. The post -mortem of the woman’s body was done at Ambikapur Medical College Hospital. The body has been handed over to the family members.
