A case of apparent suicide has come to light in Jagdalpur district. The husband of a Sarpanch was found dead, having taken his own life near the SP office. The deceased, Kamlochan Nag, was the representative of the Sarpanch of Kawapal Panchayat. The police responded to the scene, sent the body for post-mortem examination, and began further investigations. The entire matter falls under the purview of the Kotwali police station.
Sources indicate that the body of Kamlochan Nag was discovered this morning at a tea stall opposite the SP office, leading to alarm in the vicinity. The police have stated that initial findings point towards suicide. No suicide note has been recovered. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged suicide of the Sarpanch’s husband.
