Raipur, May 27, 2025 / Under the Sushasan Tihar, today the helicopter of the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, landed in village Kankabira of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. He set up his chaupal under the Gulmohar tree near the pre-matric boys’ hostel complex and interacted with the common villagers while taking information about the schemes. He said that it is my good fortune that I got the opportunity to meet you people. You people elected me as an MP from this area 3 times. Today, meeting all of you, I feel like being among the family.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while explaining the significance of Sushasan Tihar, said that after taking applications in the first phase, action was taken on the applications received in the second phase. Now in the third phase, the government of Chhattisgarh has come to your village through Sushasan Tihar. We have worked in the interest of the people of the state in the last one and a half years. Sushasan Tihar is also a kind of report card for us and an opportunity to assess the work done by our government. Through this, we are also knowing the status of implementation of schemes on the ground. Apart from us, ministers, MPs, MLAs and Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and other senior officers are also participating in Sushasan Tihar.
Addressing the villagers, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that during the time of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, free food grains were arranged for all the poor. No one was allowed to sleep hungry. Our government takes complete care of the poor. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government has fulfilled all the promises made under Modi’s guarantee. As soon as the government took oath, the next day it approved 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas in the cabinet. He said that all those in need will be given housing. Those whose names are in Awas Plus will also be given housing. The Chief Minister said that we have fulfilled the promise of the farmers and decided to purchase paddy at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and purchase 21 quintals of paddy per acre. Also gave the outstanding paddy bonus amount for two years. He said that by giving the amount of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to more than 70 lakh women in their accounts, the door to economic prosperity and women empowerment was opened. The names of those beneficiaries who are deprived of this scheme will also be added. The Chief Minister said that taking decisions in the interest of the beneficiaries collecting tendu leaves, the amount per standard bag has been increased from Rs 4 thousand to Rs 5500. He said that along with this, the Ramlala Darshan Yojana has been started and the beneficiaries have been shown the darshan of Ramlala. He said that our government has started the closed Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme with the aim of fulfilling the wishes of the elders. With this scheme, families interested in pilgrimage will be able to take advantage of other pilgrimage sites of their choice.
The Chief Minister said that our government has started Atal Digital Seva Kendras in Gram Panchayats from April 24. With this scheme, all Gram Panchayats will be connected and facilities like banks will be available to the villagers in the village itself. He said that the beneficiaries of any scheme will be able to withdraw the amount in Atal Digital Seva Kendra. No one will have to go to the bank. Currently, this has been started in 1460 panchayats.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government is closing all the ways of corruption. He said that along with the registration of land, the government has also simplified the process of mutation. He said that our government has investigated the irregularities in the PSC recruitment and taken action against the culprits. New recruitment will be done in the coming days in a fair and transparent manner. The Chief Minister said that we want to take the country forward on the path of development. Want to establish good governance with a transparent government in the state. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri P. Dayanand, Collector Shri Dr. Sanjay Kannouje, SP Shri Anjaneya Varshney and a large number of villagers were present.
