Historic improvement in the education system through rationalization in the state: Now no school is without a teacher
Raipur, July 4, 2025/ Better results have been obtained from the rationalization process in the direction of strengthening and balancing the education system of the state. Prior to rationalization in the state, a total of 453 schools were without teachers. After rationalization, not a single school is without a teacher. Similarly, after rationalization, 4728 schools out of 5936 single-teacher schools in the state have been staffed with teachers, which is a significant step towards improving the education system, which will undoubtedly improve the education system in those schools and the students will get the benefit of quality education.
Due to the shortage of teachers in some districts of Bastar and Surguja divisions, about 1208 schools have remained single-teacher schools. In the near future, the shortage of teachers in the schools will be met through the promotion of head readers and lecturers and through the direct recruitment of about 5000 teachers, so that no school will remain a single-teacher school and teachers will be appointed in other schools as well where there is a shortage of teachers.
The process of rationalization has been done under the provisions contained in the Right to Education Act-2009 and the National Education Policy-2020, the relevance of the 2008 setup at the primary and upper primary level has not remained. Disciplinary action has been taken against such officers and employees who were found involved in any kind of irregularity.
