Under the ‘Healthy Woman – Empowered Family’ campaign, the state-level आयोजन of Women’s Health Conference Day was held today throughout the Chhattisgarh state with great enthusiasm and widespread participation. The main objective of this आयोजन was to make women aware and self-reliant by providing them with comprehensive services related to health, nutrition, hygiene, and maternity.
Thousands of women actively participated in this व्यापक अभियान that spread from the remote rural areas of the state to the urban areas. The presence of women in health checkup camps, vaccination sessions, nutrition dialogues, and public awareness activities was notable.
In the VHSND (Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Day) sessions organized under the program, the health department teams checked the hemoglobin, blood pressure, and sugar levels of women. During this time, 1,889 pregnant women were provided with necessary vaccinations, nutritional advice, and iron and calcium supplements. Adolescent girls were given detailed information on menstrual hygiene, the use of sanitary napkins, and measures to prevent infection.
The program also बताया गया that how the prevention of many diseases is possible through a balanced diet, clean water, regular checkups, and exercise. Special emphasis was given to nutrition education, hygiene behavior, and measures to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.
