The Ministry of Tourism has issued detailed project report templates and operational guidelines to states under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme for the global development of popular tourist centers in the country. The Ministry received applications for 87 projects on an online portal from various states. Under this scheme, 40 projects worth 3295.76 crore rupees have been approved, with 100% central funding.
