In anticipation of increased passenger traffic during the upcoming festive season, the Indian Railways has implemented major changes to its train schedule. This includes the cancellation of 30 trains and the rerouting of 6 others. The cancellations and route changes, effective from August 31st to September 15th, aim to facilitate better traffic management and improve overall service efficiency.
Travelers heading to states such as West Bengal, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Goa may experience disruptions due to these changes. To accommodate the anticipated surge in passengers, 52 trains will have added stops at several stations within the state.
