In a gruesome incident, an elderly couple was found murdered in the Biroda village, near Raipur. The victims, identified as Bhukhan Dhruva, 62, and his wife Rukhamani Dhruva, 60, were found with their throats slit. The crime scene has been sealed off as police begin their investigation.
The initial findings suggest that the attackers entered the house and killed the man first, while he was asleep. The woman was then pursued and murdered. The woman’s body was discovered on the blood-soaked ground, while the man was found on his cot.
Upon receiving the report, senior police officials, including the SP, ASP, CSP, and other specialized units like the ACCU, FSL, dog squad, and fingerprint experts, reached the location. The police are questioning the local residents and suspect that personal rivalry or past disputes could be the motive. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the double murder is ongoing.
