Police in Durg, Chhattisgarh, have busted a large sex racket operating out of a local hotel. The raid resulted in the arrest of multiple individuals found in compromising situations. The incident, which occurred at Hotel Isha in the Vaishali Nagar area, followed reports of illicit activities at the establishment.
The police investigation revealed that the hotel owner was allegedly bringing girls from other states and arranging sexual encounters for customers. The illicit dealings involved the use of WhatsApp to share photos of the girls and negotiate prices for services. The raid, conducted on the night of September 1st, led to the arrest of the hotel owner, manager, and several customers.
The hotel owner, identified as Nikhil Meshram, has been taken into custody and placed under judicial remand. Evidence collected from the scene included cash and several boxes of objectionable items. The police are continuing their investigation, with one customer, Mohammad Shoaib Khan, also arrested in connection with the case.
