Divisional Railway Manager Shri Dayanand addressed on the 79th Independence Day
On Independence Day, Divisional Railway Manager and President of Secro, Mrs. Shikha Singh, released tricolor balloons, a symbol of unity in diversity, into the sky.

Along with the entire nation, the 79th Independence Day was celebrated in a traditional and joyous manner at the offices located at various places of South East Central Railway, Raipur Division. The main program of the division was organized in the premises of Raipur Railway Division office. In this program, the main guest was Divisional Railway Manager Shri Dayanand, and the special guest was President Secro Mrs. Shikha Singh. On this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager Shri Dayanand took the salute of the parade under the leadership of Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, Shri Raman Kumar. The Independence Day program was prepared by Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Shri Rahul Garg. The program started with the welcome of the guests and the national flag was hoisted at 9.00 am by the chief guest, Divisional Railway Manager, along with the melodious tune of the national anthem. On this occasion, march past was presented by the members of Railway Protection Force, Civil Defense, Scout Guide and the Divisional Railway Manager addressed the railway family. Remembering the freedom fighters, the Divisional Railway Manager congratulated all the employees, passengers, organizations, and Secro. In his address, he said that this is a historic and glorious day. He conveyed the message that due to the hard work and efforts of the railway employees, the railways have continuously increased infrastructure and developed passenger facilities. Raipur Division has started auto signaling between Dagori Nipania and Sarona Urkura bypass. Passengers are benefiting from the direct rail service between Raipur and Jabalpur for the convenience of passengers. Raipur Railway Division’s gift of Bhilai, Urkura and Bhanupratappur Amrit Bharat stations, successful operation of Vande Bharat Bilaspur Nagpur and Durg Visakhapatnam, including facilities like lifts, escalators, footover bridges for passengers, as well as redevelopment and upgradation of Raipur and Durg stations are underway.
Passengers have benefited from the quick resolution of problems on the Rail Madad app.
Promotions and expansion of medical facilities have been done for the welfare of the employees. Railway players have performed well at the national level.
Appreciated all the railway employees and officers for their contribution in all these works. Divisional Railway Manager and President Secro encouraged everyone by releasing tricolor balloons in the sky depicting national unity. Cultural programs were also presented by school children and members of Scout Guide.
During this program, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Shri Bajrang Agarwal, Chief Medical Superintendent, Chief Project Manager, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri Avdhesh Kumar Trivedi and other departmental officers including Secro officials, union representatives, media members, railway employees were present.
