Chief Minister Shri Sai reached the historical immersion tableau
Raipur, September 9, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reached the welcome stage built by the Municipal Corporation located at Jaistambh Chowk, the heart of the capital Raipur, late on the night of September 8 and joined the historical Ganesh immersion yatra and greeted the tableaux. Addressing the program, he said that the Ganesh immersion tableau of Raipur is a symbol of a very historical tradition. On this occasion, he also wished for the happiness and prosperity of Chhattisgarh from Vighnaharta Shri Ganesh. Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed his gratitude to the organizers for inviting him to the historical immersion yatra.
It is noteworthy that the Ganesh tableau yatra had started from 8 pm on the previous day in the capital Raipur. This time too, tokens were given to the tableaux from Sharda Chowk on the designated route. The tableaux gathered at Sharda Chowk via Telghani Naka, Rathore Chowk and Tatyapara, after which they moved forward one by one. All these tableaux reached Mahadev Ghat via Jaistambh Chowk, Malviya Road, Sadar Bazar, Kankalipara, Purani Basti, Lakhenagar, Ashwini Nagar, Sundar Nagar and Raipura Marg. This year too, the tableaux were attractively decorated on various topics. These included glimpses of Operation Sindoor and Rafale aircraft along with various mythological episodes. The sight of the Rafale aircraft in the form of a tableau on the roads of Raipur was the center of special attraction. In one tableau, Bappa was seen seated in traditional Chhattisgarhi attire. Not only the people of Raipur city but also the villagers from the surrounding areas reached the capital in large numbers to see these tableaux.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Shri Khushwant Saheb, MLA Shri Motilal Sahu, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra and Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Smt. Meenal Choubey along with a large number of local public representatives were present.
