During a private event in Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai outlined his government’s priorities for Chhattisgarh. The event served as a forum to discuss the state’s progress, governance strategies, and welfare programs. CM Sai reiterated his administration’s dedication to fostering inclusive development across the state. He acknowledged the significant support from Chhattisgarh’s populace, which enabled the government to swiftly initiate key initiatives. These initiatives included the approval of a large number of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, benefiting numerous families, and the commencement of paddy procurement at a price of ₹3100 per quintal, including arrears for farmers. The government is also providing financial assistance to women through the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, benefitting a large number of women each month. The government is working towards tribal empowerment and providing opportunities for religious travel. The Chief Minister also discussed the establishment of Atal Digital Centers in panchayats and the re-allocation of ‘Ready to Eat’ production to women’s self-help groups. The government is committed to the ‘Naxal-Free India’ campaign, aligning with the central government’s deadline, and is actively pursuing development in villages. The event also included sessions focusing on the state’s prospects, accomplishments, and future, fostering dialogue on governance, empowerment, and innovation. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Agriculture Minister Dr. Ramvichar Netam.
