The political atmosphere in Chhattisgarh has become charged due to Rahul Gandhi’s accusations of voter list manipulation and vote theft against the Election Commission. This has resulted in an exchange of charges between the opposition and the ruling party. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has entered the fray, arguing that it is not right to question the Election Commission. He stated that when the Congress wins, everything is deemed satisfactory. However, when they lose, they immediately blame the EVMs and raise doubts about the Election Commission. CM Sai’s comments were made during a media interaction at Raipur Police Ground, following his return from a two-day visit to Jashpur. He also discussed his visit, mentioning the celebration of Raksha Bandhan with beneficiaries of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the distribution of e-rickshaws to 12 women from self-help groups, and the opening of Chhattisgarh State Rural Bank branches in three development blocks.
