Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was the chief guest at the Guru Darshan and Sant Samagam Mela in Bhandarpuri Dham, Raipur. He initiated 16 development projects worth more than 162 crore rupees, including road construction and improvement. Sai announced further developments such as a dome construction, streetlights on the Telasi-Bhandarpuri road, and the elevation of Kutesar Primary School. He offered to fully fund pilot training for five young people. The Chief Minister sought blessings for the state’s well-being, emphasizing the importance of following the ideals of Baba Guru Ghasidas for a developed Chhattisgarh. He pointed out the ideals of humanity and equality within those teachings, and how the Satnami community has progressed following Guru Baba’s message of unity. He also contrasted the current event with the previous year’s, noting the change in role of Guru Khushwant Saheb, now a minister focusing on the development of Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Sai highlighted the state’s rapid progress, the implementation of Modi’s guarantees, and the recent completion of government job recruitment. He also mentioned the formation of a good governance and convergence department to ensure transparency in governance, and the government’s commitment to eradicating corruption. He noted the increase in the budget for the Scheduled Caste community development authority established during Dr. Raman Singh’s tenure.
