Raipur, August 29, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, during his visit to South Korea, invited ModernTech Corp., a leading company in Green Mobility Solutions, and UNECORAIL, a major Korean company for rail maintenance solutions, to invest and collaborate in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said that the state government’s priority is to promote clean energy, build sustainable transport infrastructure and strengthen the railway network. He expressed confidence that the partnership with these two companies would give new momentum to Chhattisgarh’s clean energy journey and logistics backbone.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai invited ModernTech Corp., a leading company in Green Mobility Solutions, to invest in Chhattisgarh, proposing to establish a state-of-the-art EV charging manufacturing unit in the state, saying that this project would give a new identity to the state in the field of clean energy and sustainable transport infrastructure.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government’s industrial policy 2024–30 is in line with the goals of promoting green energy and reducing carbon emissions. He said—
“The establishment of an EV charging manufacturing unit in Chhattisgarh will not only strengthen the clean energy goals, but will also provide better and modern transport infrastructure to the people of the state. This initiative will prove to be a big step in the direction of giving the gift of a clean environment to future generations.”
He also highlighted that this investment would create vast employment opportunities for local youth, develop green technical skills in the state, and accelerate the sustainable transport network in rural-urban areas. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the experience and expertise of ModernTech Corp. will accelerate Chhattisgarh’s energy transition journey.
Officials present at the event said that the proposed project would provide employment to thousands of people directly and indirectly and would also promote component manufacturing units at the local level. This will establish Chhattisgarh as an emerging national hub in the field of green energy.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai assured the representatives of ModernTech Corp. that the state government would provide all possible support to the investors. He said that “the processes have been made simple and transparent so that investors can implement their projects quickly without any hindrance.”

During the meeting, the Chief Minister and company representatives discussed in detail the possibilities of collaboration in local manufacturing, technology transfer and railway infrastructure development. The Chief Minister said that in view of Chhattisgarh’s rapidly growing industrial and logistic needs, state-of-the-art solutions in the railway sector are very important.
Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that the experience and expertise of UNECORAIL would provide a new direction in strengthening the railway network in the state, improving maintenance and strengthening the logistics backbone. This will not only accelerate industrial activities but also provide safe and easy transportation facilities to the general public.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that keeping in mind the aspirations of the people of Chhattisgarh, the government is making clean energy and sustainable development a central element of its policy. He urged all investors to become development partners of Chhattisgarh and take the state to new heights by joining this transformative journey.
